Evora School of Gastronomy
Evora, Portugal
Their Royal Highnesses Prince Charles Philippe d’Orléans and Princess Diana, who live in Évora, decided with the Chaîne de Rôtisseurs in Portugal and various local personalities to set up a Horeca School for deprived children in the Region.
Organizing a workshop for the children to spend their free-time in, conceived as a meeting place open to discoveries and suited activities allows the institution to offer young pupils from underprivileged families the opportunity to meet other people between finishing school and returning home, in order to promote the acquisition of a basic knowledge in the sector of oenology and gastronomy, and to discover new talent in that field.
